Treat varicose veins without surgery.
Venefit™ is a minimally invasive treatment that closes diseased veins using radiofrequency energy. Performed in our clinic under local anesthesia, it requires only a small incision and allows most patients to return to normal activities within a day or two—without the need for traditional vein stripping surgery.
How Venefit Works
Venefit is performed in our clinic on an outpatient basis using ultrasound guidance to precisely target the affected vein.
A small catheter is inserted through a tiny incision made under the knee and advanced into the diseased vein. The catheter delivers controlled radiofrequency energy, heating the vein wall and causing it to collapse and seal closed.
Once the vein is closed, blood is naturally redirected through healthy veins. Over time, the treated vein is absorbed by the body and symptoms such as aching, swelling, and heaviness often improve. Varicose veins also become less visible as the vein heals.
After treatment, a small bandage and compression stocking are applied to support healing. Most patients are walking immediately after the procedure and return to their regular routine within 24–48 hours.
